This Privacy Policy describes how Prismatic Pavilion (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a US-based small business selling print-on-demand apparel and gifts, handles the personal information of buyers and visitors. We sell primarily through our Etsy shop, and most of the data we receive comes to us through Etsy. We collect only what we need to fulfill your order and provide good service.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Order and contact information — your name, shipping address, email address, and order details provided through Etsy when you make a purchase or message us.
Personalization content — names, nicknames, dates, monograms, or other custom text and choices you supply so we can personalize your item.
Communications — messages you send us through Etsy, including questions and any details you choose to share.
Transaction details — what you ordered and when. We do not collect or store your full payment card number; payments are processed by Etsy and its payment providers.

Why we collect it (how we use your information)

To create, personalize, produce, and ship your order.
To communicate with you about your order, answer questions, and provide customer service.
To process returns, replacements, or resolve printing issues.
To comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and recordkeeping requirements).
If you opt in, to send occasional updates — you can opt out at any time.

We rely on the lawful bases of performing our contract with you (fulfilling your order), our legitimate interest in running and improving our shop, and compliance with legal obligations.

Third parties we share information with

We share your information only as needed to run our shop and fulfill orders. These partners maintain their own privacy practices:

Etsy — our selling marketplace. Etsy hosts our shop, processes payments, and handles messaging and much of the order data. Your purchase is also governed by Etsy's own Privacy Policy.
Printify and its print providers — we use Printify to produce and ship many items. To fulfill an order, we share your shipping name and address, the item ordered, and any personalization details with Printify and the specific print provider that prints and ships your item.
Payment processors — payments are handled by Etsy Payments and its associated processors. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Shipping carriers — your name and address are shared with the carrier (such as USPS, UPS, or others) to deliver your package.
Legal and compliance — we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and our business.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain order and personalization information for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, and meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations — generally up to the period required by applicable law (often around four to seven years for transaction and tax records). Personalization text tied to a completed order may be retained as part of that order history so we can reprint or resolve issues. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Note that Etsy and Printify retain data according to their own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your information, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements.
Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional marketing.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, message us through Etsy (see Contact below). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Because Etsy and Printify also hold data, some requests may also need to be directed to them under their policies.

Children's privacy

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Purchases and accounts must be made by an adult.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
